Your Z1 comes with a power cord with the plug type for the country it ships to, so it is ready to plug in right out of the box. The cord is user-replaceable and connects to the back of the grinder with a standard IEC 60320 C5 connector, so a new cord swaps in within seconds.
Which plug will I get?
| Plug type | What it looks like | Countries |
|---|---|---|
| Type B (US and North America) | Two flat parallel blades plus a round ground pin | Canada, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, United States |
| Type G (UK) | Three rectangular pins in a triangle | Hong Kong, Ireland, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom |
| Type F (most of the EU) | Two round pins with grounding clips on the sides | Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland |
| Type I (Australia and New Zealand) | Two angled flat pins in a V plus a vertical ground pin | Argentina, Australia, New Zealand |
Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, and Israel each have their own national socket style. We ship a Type F cord to these countries, which fits most outlets. If you prefer your local plug, any standard IEC 60320 C5 cord with that plug will work.
Country not listed? Email info@zerno.co with a photo of your outlet and we will confirm which of our four plug types fits best.
Good to know
Z2 cords do not fit the Z1. Plug types by country are the same for both grinders, but the connector at the grinder end is different. If you need a new cord, make sure it is for the Z1.
Skip the travel adapter. Travel plug adapters are not built for the continuous power draw of a grinder. The plug also only solves the shape of the outlet, not the voltage. If you are moving to a country with a different plug or voltage, see Using Your Z1 in Another Country (Voltage) or contact support at info@zerno.co.
